Contractual minimum

Mordovia employer is required to increase wages
Since I July minimum wage in Mordovia will be 2 625 rubles, which is 325 rubles above the average figure. The decision was made at a meeting of Republican tripartite commission to regulate social and labour relations.
Their signatures to the "Agreement on minimum wage in the Republic of Mordovia" put President of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Volkov, leader of the Federation of Trade Unions RM Anatoly Soldatov and head of the regional employers' association "Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs" Vladimir Chibirkin.

Under the terms of the Agreement, if within 30 calendar days from the date of the official announcement of the proposal for accession motivated employers do not submit a written waiver, it would be considered common to these employers and be binding.
It should be noted that earlier decision to raise the minimum wage were adopted in some neighboring regions Privolzhya (Bashkortostan, Samara Region). Today Mordovia income population lags behind its neighbours in the PFO. According to the Federation of Trade Unions RM, the average salary in the republic as of the first quarter of 2008 amounted to 9847 rubles 47 kopecks. In doing so, the average size of a living wage equal to 3627 rubles.
