Late Council

Town deputies stripped of authority
Yesterday, Attorney Belogorska sent a statement to the court with the requirement to recognize the work of the local Urban Council of People's Deputies of wrongdoing.
His decision on early dissolution of the Council of Prosecutor's Office explains the verdict of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation made on a similar case.
Recall that, vnyav calls of the community leader Alexander Hodunova proposing to dissolve the Council in order to achieve budgetary savings, seven of the twenty-one elected have written applications for the renouncement of a parliamentary powers. Under the Charter Belogorska local parliament thus became unauthorized: the Council left with 13 deputies, representing less than two-thirds of the authorized strength.
One of voluntary retirees tried to take back a document for the renouncement of power itself, but he refused, because current legislation does not provide for revoking the deputy statements on early termination of its activities.
