Orthodox scouts from the Kuzbass travel to local lore expedition to Finland
Route 19 to four-week trip scheduled this Kuzbass kids: Kemerovo-St. Petersburg-Helsinki-New Valaam-Koo-Pi-Murmansk-Rovaniemi.
A great trip, organized by Fellowship of Orthodox sledopytov with the support of regional authorities, will start June 21 and will end on 18 July.
During this time children from the orphanage Kuzbass, the poor and large families uspeyut visited many famous places Russian North, to visit ancient temples and monasteries, ethnographic collect data on people and culture of northern Europe. But on this expedition will not end: considered material and living impression guys will be the basis for almost scientific reports and presentations, Orthodox travelers who write and arrange for their Siberian peers.

-- The expedition was possible because the leaders of "Brotherhood Orthodox sledopytov" have friends in Finland, who proposed the idea of such a trip. Both sides had done everything necessary - and I will soon travel to the way the guys. The main thing that will give them expedition - an opportunity to broaden horizons, enriched in personal terms: children can learn more about the history of Russia and Orthodoxy specific examples. In addition, Finland - a multinational country with interesting and little known in our culture, for children it will be opening. In the expedition will also be organized and educational work - will travel with the children experienced mentors.
