The development of the power system is also planned on the two options. The main differences are determined by the extent of the likely scenarios for the construction of Yuzhno-Yakutsk hydropower complex. The first option involves putting into operation only Cancun and Nizhne-Timptonskoy GES, the second - the construction of all seven stations set. In both cases provided for the development of thermal power in Neryungri, Yakutsk, on Talakane, as well as the construction in settlements and mini-CHP capacity increase Svetlinskoy GES.
The first option is cheaper. But even less comment from him. In this scenario, the grid of Yakutia not avoid power shortages.
The second option is much more expensive, but it will ensure the needs of the republic, even with some surplus. Excess electrical power grid will go to Siberia and the far East, perhaps for export to China.
It is understandable that it is preferable for Yakutia this scenario. It will create the most favourable conditions for economic growth and improved living standards yakutyan.
