Older northerners pay expensive treatment
Since yesterday-retired northerners can expect to receive special targeted social assistance.
As explained correspondent "WP" in the regional government, now older northerners may offset their costs of paid medical treatment, repair apartments, buying expensive household appliances and other unforeseen expenses.
New targeted assistance will be one, but it can only get broken pensioners living in the Murmansk region and labor-receiving old-age pensions and disability.
Priority eligible for targeted social assistance to pensioners living alone are older than 70 years of pension less than the subsistence minimum established for pensioners on the territory of the Murmansk region (from 1 April this year, this amounts to 5391 rubles).
Assistance will be provided at the expense of the Russian Pension Fund. During her getting older area residents should contact the place of residence - in the territorial bodies of Social Protection of the committee on labour and social development of the Murmansk region.
