The authorities of Blagoveshchensk decided to reduce the number of accidents and injuries at work

Faulty equipment, poor technical condition of industrial buildings and territories - all this creates a fertile ground for accidents.
The result confirms folk wisdom that the stingy pay twice: an annual total direct economic losses from accidents and occupational diseases accounted for the city of more than 60 million rubles! A price of indirect losses of the above: a reduction in productivity, reduction in output, the additional training, compensation for moral damage.
In 2007, 20.2 per cent of urban enterprises (that is, one in five!) Working in unhealthy conditions. It's quite an alarming rate, according to the authorities of Blagoveshchensk.
It is in this regard, the city council regional center has developed a municipal targeted programs to improve working conditions in urban organizations. Calculated it in 2009-2011. The total project cost - 86.7 million rubles, of which more than 24 million already planned for next year. The proportion of the city budget in the financing of the program - only 3.9 million rubles, the Social Insurance Fund of 30 million and the bulk - about 53 million - will be required to make their own organizations and enterprises.
According to preliminary calculations the management of economic development administration Blagoveshchensk, the effect of the program reflected both in raising the living standards of citizens, and to increase the income of enterprises, and therefore tax payments to the budget.
The program includes both preventative measures to reduce occupational injuries and diseases, and conducting checks on compliance by employers trudoohrannogo legislation. Although they can be called with natyazhkoy - mainly deals with guidance on the appraisal of jobs and other security issues in the workplace.
Among the activities to be undertaken under the program, there are competitions for the best business city on the organization of labor protection and promotion of employees responsible for the safety work at the municipal enterprises and the establishment of discounts to insurance rates for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents, and much more.
